Award-Winning Classical Dancer Joins Karma Kalakendram to Lead Ballymena Dance Classes

Ballymena: Karma Kalakendram is excited to welcome Aiswarya Mylpravan to its teaching faculty in Ballymena as it opens new dance classes this coming Sunday, 19 October 2025, from 1 PM to 3 PM.
Aiswarya, who resides in Ballymena, is a highly skilled dancer in Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi, and she is known for her ability to weave stories through movement and choreography. Her impressive résumé includes major national awards such as the Bharathiya Rajahamsa Award and the Natyamayoori Award. Beyond performing, she has inspired many through workshops and stage productions across various platforms.
The classes will take place at the Ballymena Seven Towers Leisure Centre and will be delivered under the oversight of Bijini JP, Karma Kalakendram’s Head of Dance Education, ensuring a comprehensive and culturally grounded curriculum.
This new program demonstrates Karma Kalakendram’s commitment to fostering artistic growth and strengthening community ties through the classical arts.
