Kaliyattam 2026 promises to be a vibrant and meaningful cultural exchange event celebrating the spirit of the spring festival season — symbolising hope, renewal, and shared humanity.

Taking place on 28 March at The Braid Arts Centre, the event warmly invites friends and supporters from across Northern Ireland to experience an unforgettable evening of music, movement, and cultural celebration. Designed as a platform for artistic expression and community connection, Kaliyattam 2026 will bring together South Indian communities and local residents in a shared spirit of friendship, inclusivity, and mutual respect.

Audiences can expect captivating performances, live music, elegant glimpses of Bharatanatyam, and authentic cuisine — all carefully curated to reflect the richness of South Indian heritage while strengthening intercultural dialogue within Northern Ireland.

Singer Jeemon, who will be performing at the event, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration.“This will be our first venture with Karma Kalakendram,” he said. “Myself and my colleagues are excited to perform and contribute towards a positive cultural impact through music.”

Bijini from Karma Kalakendram also shared her thoughts on the partnership. She noted that both she and Karma Kalakendram’s Ballymena chapter, headed by Aiswarya, are motivated to work alongside JAS Beats, as both organisations share a strong commitment to the arts and to secular, community-focused values.

Kaliyattam 2026 reflects a shared vision between JAS Beats and Karma Kalakendram — a vision rooted in cultural integration, artistic excellence, and community cohesion. By celebrating tradition while encouraging participation from diverse backgrounds, the event aims to strengthen social bonds across Northern Ireland.
