This year’s Karma Fest will feature a special Kuchipudi performance by Anagha Vivek, a young and promising talent. Anagha, who recently represented Karma Kalakendram with a "Mohiniyatam" at the Bounce Festival for differently-abled individuals, will bring her unique interpretation of classical dance to the Karma Fest stage, setting the tone for an inspiring evening of performances.

Bijini JP, the artistic director of Karma Fest, expressed her pride in collaborating with Anagha, who recently started "Prana Dance Academy."

Karma Fest 2024, hosted by Karma Kalakendram, is set to be a vibrant celebration of Indian classical dance, with a strong focus on nurturing young talents and promoting the rich traditions of Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi. The festival serves as a key platform for showcasing the dedication and skill of emerging dancers within Northern Ireland's growing classical dance community.

One of the most eagerly awaited parts of the festival is the Arangettam (debut performance) of four students: Sona Davis, Hannah Thomas, Tess Mary Cyril, and Shreyas George. These students have dedicated years to practicing under the guidance of experienced instructors and are excited to make their debut in Bharatanatyam. Their performances mark a significant milestone in their artistic journeys, and Karma Kalakendram is proud to provide the platform for this achievement.

Karma Fest 2024 is more than just a showcase of individual talents—it's about building a community of dancers, students, and audiences who share a passion for classical arts. The festival reflects Karma Kalakendram's ongoing mission to promote cultural diversity and provide opportunities for young talents to shine. We invite everyone to join us for an evening that celebrates the beauty, tradition, and future of classical dance in Northern Ireland.
